New Sony Game Concord's Debut Trailer Gives Off Big Guardians Of The Galaxy Energy, Beta And Date Confirmed

Sony has officially unveiled Concord, its latest live-service game from developer Firewalk Studios. The game was given its first reveal at the latest PlayStation State of Play celebration, showing off the 5v5 shooter. Concord launches on PS5 and PC on August 23, with a pre-launch beta running in July.

Concord was revealed with a story trailer showing off some of the characters and the world of the multiplayer shooter. The game has a sci-fi setting, with a variety of different aliens. Characters are shown to have different abilities, like robot legs to jump high and diamond skin to absorb extra damage. The different groups are Freegunners, which basically mercenaries, complete with Guardians of the Galaxy-inspired banter and jokes.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 is a fulfilling follow-up to Inti Creates’ electric 3DS action-platformer from 2014, and while it’s notably similar in many ways, the subtle changes it introduces expand and enrich the experience. An additional playable character–the returning antihero Copen–completely changes the way the game is played, and expanded sub-systems imbue the action with newfound significance and complexity. Whether you’ve played the first game or not, Gunvolt 2 is an exemplary display of tightly-paced action from start to finish.

Gunvolt 2’s story takes place shortly after the events of the first game, throwing its electric-powered protagonist, the titular Gunvolt, into a conflict against Eden, a fanatical group of superpowered individuals known as Adepts. Brock Lesnar And Vince McMahon Aren't Playable In WWE 2K24–But Aren't Gone Entirely

WWE 2K24 launches in just a few weeks, as early as March 5 for some players, but the wrestling company’s real-life legal troubles have led to questions surrounding the game. CEO Vince McMahon was named in a lawsuit filed by a former WWE employee over allegations of sexual misconduct, with subsequent reporting also implicating in-ring talent Brock Lesnar. The question of the two individuals being playable characters in WWE 2K24 had become a burning one. And while they won’t be part of the main roster, they are not entirely absent from the game.

2K shared the official WWE 2K24 roster earlier today, and after much speculation, confirmed that McMahon and Lesnar won’t be in the game’s lineup of 200+ playable characters. However, speaking with a source familiar with the game’s development, GameSpot has learned further details about their presence.
